Honoring Our Legacy. Building Our Future.

Madison County Community Bank is excited to announce the beginning of a new chapter.

We’re joining forces with Gulf Winds Credit Union, a member-owned credit union that has been serving families across our region for more than 70 years.

As part of this next chapter, we will be moving forward under a new identity: TruWorth Credit Union™.

Through this transition, you will gain access to an expanded branch network, more products, enhanced technology, and deeper community impact, all while continuing to see familiar faces and receive the service you expect.

Why Gulf Winds?

This partnership brings together two community-focused financial institutions with a shared commitment to trusted relationships, local service, and long-term philanthropic impact.

Throughout this transition, the values that define the institutions will remain the same, creating a stronger foundation for future growth, innovation, and service.

The Launch of TruWorth Credit Union

TruWorth Credit Union represents the belief that people are more than their transactions, that every person we serve has potential worth investing in, and that relationships matter.

The launch of TruWorth reflects an opportunity for us to make a bigger impact. Simply put, TruWorth Credit Union is the future of the communities we serve.

“Madison County Community Bank was founded on a simple belief: people deserve a bank they know and trust. That belief remains at the heart of this decision. TruWorth Credit Union allows us to carry the best of MCCB forward while combining our strengths with Gulf Winds to create something even bigger for the future. This is not about leaving our history behind. It is about honoring it by building upon it.”

— D. Edward Meggs, Sr., Madison County Community Bank President and CEO
